Forest Centre supplies premium quality, high performance hydraulic rotators and rotator accessories for forestry, construction, demolition and material handling industries.
Hydraulic rotators are separated into two mounting types; hanging style dangle mount (sometimes referred to as pendulum or cardanic type) and positioned (or rigid/fixed) type attachment.
A dangle type rotator is attached to the crane tip or machine boom using a two-way swinging link or yoke, which can also be equipped with single or double direction swing brakes. This type of mounting is used on most crane attachments as no twisting stresses are introduced to either the rotator or crane boom. Commonly used in forestry for loading and unloading logs, as well as truck mounted cranes, loaders and excavators in scrap or material handling operations.

GRAPPLE SAW ROTATORS
A positioned rotator is attached to the base carrier either via a flat plate coupler, quick coupler or pin attachment directly to the boom together with an existing tool or bucket cylinder. This type of rotator gives the operator capability to maneuver the grapple at almost any angle relative to the boom, making it ideal for placing poles, rocks, handling tree limbs or any application requiring more accurate control of the load.
Vosch grapples are available with positioned rotator factory-fitted, whilst Baltrotors CPR model range provides options for positioned rotators to fit other types of attachments.
