E-Series Bunks for Log Trailers

ExTe engineers robust log bolsters with high quality Swedish steel, brought directly to the Australian market by Forest Centre.

ExTe combination bolsters utilise a steel base and aluminium stakes for the ultimate synthesis of loading capacity, high strength and low weight.

Low weight means easier handling, greater loading capacity and improved profitability.

The most popular ExTe bolster in the Australian market is the 12 ton rated E12-H model, an Australian market variant of E12. E12H has a taller base profile for loader clearance and integrated clearance light brackets.

E12-H stake load height comes standard as 2.7m and can be specified from 2.1 to 3 metres. Tapered aluminium ‘S-stakes’ are standard with E12-H allowing for easier unloading. Telescopic stakes are also available as an option.

E12 and E12H bolsters can be attached to the trailer frame via:

  • direct welding to the bolster base and clamped to upper flange (customised by trailer builder or with genuine ExTe mounting kit)
  • or with fully bolted clamps (genuine ExTe mounting kit P/N 800672 for E12 or 800772 for E12-H)

E12H weight with 2.7m load area height 177kg – or 169kg when customised to 2.3m load area height for example.
